Key process parameters

Arc parameters: voltage (18-40 V), current (50-300 A) affect the melting efficiency.

Atomizing pressure: usually 0.4-0.7MPa, which determines particle fineness and coating density.

Spraying distance: 150-200 mm, too close easy to overheat, too far reduce the binding force.

Substrate pretreatment: Sandblasting (Sa2.5 grade) to improve surface roughness and adhesion.

Case 1: An automobile company uses arc spraying zinc-aluminum alloy coating to treat suspension parts, and the salt spray test life is increased by 3 times.

Case 2: After the transmission gear is worn, FeCrB wire is sprayed, the repair cost is only 40% of the new part, and the life is restored 90%.
